Sneak Peak: new doggie collars from HOUNDMADE coming...soon?

It's been awhile everyone, but well worth the wait in my opinion. I am feeling very inspired by my old stash of vintage fabrics. I'm calling them the POLLYANNIE ESTER collars, named after our sweet girl Annabelle (Annie), of course.

I do not think I will be taking any custom orders on this line for awhile as I am about to be a mommy of the non-furry type. But, I am feeling energetic as of late. Just for fun, let's see what I can bust out in the last month of my pregnancy! This one is made from an old vintage dress and has a removable flower pin, for those special occasions in your dog's life.

Shelter Dogs Get Makeovers on Today Show

HOUNDMADE loves shelter dogs! Especially, the older, larger ones that are harder to find homes for. If we could adopt them all, we would!

This story on the Today Show this morning made us really happy. It is so heartwarming to see these beautiful large breed shelter doggies get all made up for TV! Hopefully, they will all find nice, loving homes.

These three hounders are up next for doggie portraits. We are particularly excited for these because they are all rescue pups (HOUNDMADE favorite!) and they are also the furry babies of our good friends, Rosie and Steve!

Three Doggie Bday!

Today at HOUNDMADE we celebrated our birthdays! Since we are all rescue doggies, we don't know our real birthdays. Matt and Jenn estimate that we were all born around May, so we always celebrate the first weekend of the month. Putei has requested strawberry cupcakes for fifteen years now, so Annie and I go along with his tradition. It's a pretty good one if you ask me!
